Tru Trim
Tru Trim is a weight loss supplement that claims to be able to use the powers of hCG to help you lose weight rapidly and in the long term.
Because there are so many products that claim to be able to use hCG to its fullest ability, we decided to take a closer look at Tru Trim to see what it could really offer.
The Good
Although there are many hCG products, Tru Trim does claim to be different from the rest by using its own brand of hCG called TruHCG. One of the biggest complaints of those who have used hCG to help them lose weight is that they quickly gain all of the weight, if not more, back.
Tru Trim has been designed to help you lose weight not only quickly, but also steadily so that you will keep the weight off and increase your basal metabolic rate at a higher level in the long term.
Truderma, Tru Trim’s makers, claim that TruHCG is designed to work to change your body, rather than just stimulate it. This is different than many weight loss supplements that just try to pump your body full of caffeine to keep your metabolism running.
The Bad
Even though Tru Trim’s weight loss strategy is a good one, we highly doubt they have what it takes to follow through with the actual weight loss. We doubt it because their ingredient list does not show anything that would suggest its form of hCG is different from any other form.
They have run of the mill ingredients like various vitamins, minerals and doses of caffeine, but they also have more exotic stimulants like white willow bark extract, green tea triple blend and Mormon tea.
The most ambiguous ingredient being Mormon tea. After researching this ingredient a little more, we found out why Tru Trim decided to use this mysterious term for such a common ingredient.
The Skinny
Mormon tea is named after the plant ephedra funerea which grows natively in the Western United States that the Mormons once founded.
This ephedra has been banned from the world of diet pills because of the high risk of heart attack, stroke and even death that comes with it. Because of this danger, we do not recommend Tru Trim.
