Purisalv
Purisalv is a weight loss product that is based on the health power of chia seeds.
Although chia seeds are most popularly known for their uses in making small, plant pets, we decided to look a little further into Purisalv to see if it could really benefit your weight.
What Does Purisalv Do?
Some weight loss products try to get your business by only providing you with some information; choosing to inform you of their few positive points rather than their mediocre or bad ones.
However, other products, like Purisalv, create a mountain of information, based on facts or not, to try to overload you with information.
This one weight loss product has a website that is more elaborate than most databases are. Not only is there a multimedia home page, but there are almost ten subpages that go into more depth about this product.
Does It Work?
Although there is a lot of information for Purisalv, there is really only one ingredient: chia seeds. This makes it much easier for us to decide whether it really works.
Even though chia is relatively new to the diet industry, there has been enough interest in it to stir up some mixed results. The FDA has still refused to recognize these seeds as food so you can only get chia as a supplement.
Because it is only available as a supplement, there haven’t been too many people that have tried chia for weight loss. Despite this fact, Purisalv has found numerous places in the media where chia is touted as the most beneficial food out there.
Not only do they claim that Dr. Oz swears by chia, but also that it has been mentioned in Time Magazine, Superfood for Dummies book, and the runner’s book, Born to Run.
Our Opinion:
Although Purisalv proclaims that many professionals have promised its effectiveness, we have a hard time believing any of this is true.
Not only are we sure that Purisalv is lying about two of its references, we have reason to doubt that all of them are frauds. Because of this, we can’t recommend Purisalv for weight loss.
