This program, their VLCD (Very Low Calorie Diet) products claims to be able to offer you with 25 essential daily vitamins and minerals, in addition to helping you quickly and effectively drop the pounds.
Optislim VLCD Products
Optislim offers a number of VLCD weight loss products including: soups, MAX tablets and shakes . The one we will be focusing on here is their VLCD Meal Replacement Shakes. These shakes offer 200 calories per shake, offering up to 800 calories a day when combined with other VLCD and Optislim products.
The shakes come in three flavors: chocolate, vanilla and coffee espresso.
The VLCD Program
The VLCD program starts very intense at only 800 calories allowed per day. In this first stage, you should be taking 2-3 VLCD meal replacement products each day, in addition a proper hydration.
Stage two is for more controlled weight loss and steps down to only 2 VLCD meal replacements each day. During this step you should also add one healthy and balanced meal each day and participate in a daily exercise routine.
The third stage is balanced weight loss. During this phase of the program you should be close to or at your goal weight. Here you will still be supplementing one meal per day with a VLCD product while maintaining your daily exercise routine. The other two meals and any additional snacks should be balanced and contained within 1,300 calories.
Product Disadvantages
Even though this product seems to be a good way to drop weight quickly, there are some strong disadvantages that you should be aware of.
• No Fiber in the VLCD Products- None of the VLCD products contain fiber and therefore you will need an additional fiber supplement in order to get the daily fiber recommendations.

Our Recommendations
Even if Optislim can help you drop pounds quickly we believe this product is not the best for the price. We would recommend staying away from it and trying something with more proven results.
