NOW Diet Support is one of hundreds of products produced through the NOW line.

Part of one of the biggest companies in the natural industry, NOW Diet Support has been used by some as a natural vegetarian dietary supplement that happens to be based primarily on the stimulant free forslean.

Of course, that is not its only ingredient, but that patented approach gives NOW Diet Support another dimension that a more basic diet pill just doesn’t have. Let’s look at the whole NOW Diet Support formula.

The Formula in NOW Diet Support

Chromium – Chromium has been used in the past to control blood sugar. It can fight cravings for sugars and certain other sweet tasting carbs, and it can also help those with diabetes when combined with a healthy diet and exercise program.

Forslean – A natural lean muscle builder, forslean is a patented extract of the coleus forskohlii plant. It has been used to support lean muscle mass, which means that it improves body composition while simultaneously increasing metabolism to make weight loss and maintenance easier. This is also stimulant free, making it easier for some dieters to take.

Super citrimax – Super citrimax is a patented extract of garcinia cambogia. It has been used as a stimulant free fat burner that produces a lipolytic effect, and it typically requires at least 1500mg doses. Super citrimax has also been used as an appetite suppressant by some, and it seems to regulate blood sugar.

Green tea – Green tea is by far the industry’s best known fat burner, being used to create a thermogenic effect because of its caffeine content. In addition, it has been used to increase energy, and it has healthy antioxidants that can eliminate free radicals, therefore improving your health.

Uva ursi – Uva ursi is a natural detoxifier that has been used to eliminate toxins, improve health, and at its base, it is a diuretic that helps some to flush out water weight, which can be good and bad, depending on how hydrated you are how much water you continue to drink. Generally, on its own, the weight loss does not necessarily last.

Does NOW Diet Support Have What It Takes?

NOW Diet Support provides plenty of clinically proven weight loss ingredients, and it even has diverse approaches that we would encourage, such as muscle builders (which help to maintain long term weight loss).

However, based on what we have seen on the ingredient label (which is by the way very honest), NOW Diet Support doesn’t use the amounts of any of the ingredients that were specifically used in clinical studies.

Based on this, we don’t think that NOW Diet Support will promote any measureable weight loss. We could be wrong, and it’s possible that these smaller amounts could increase metabolism, support lean muscle mass, etc. just enough to help you to maintain a healthy weight (with diet and exercise).

However, despite the positive company reputation, we don’t see NOW Diet Support making it to the big leagues.
