Hydroxytrol
Hydroxytrol is constantly being pushed as a powerful and easy way to lose weight with the power of ma huang…wait a second, wasn’t that banned? Yes, it was.
But after some angry politicians came out, the ban was reversed with a rule saying that nobody could use more than 25mg in any given dose.
The government thought this would deter diet pills, because of the fact that you actually need at least 250mg to get any clinically proven results. But that doesn’t mean that Hydroxytrol doesn’t have other ingredients. It just means it’s unlikely, because most companies depend on the hype surrounding ephedrine.
How Does Hydroxytrol Work?
Ephedra extract – Ephedrine was originally banned because of several publicized deaths and it was brought back to be used as an asthma treatment. Ever since then, it has continued to show side effects, but not weight loss results.
Guarana extract – Guarana is generally used to increase natural energy levels. But it doesn’t actually promote weight loss results
L-carnitine – L-carnitine has been used as a nutritional supplement, in part because nobody can seem to find any clinically proven benefits associated with it.
White willow bark – white willow bark is generally used as an anti-inflammatory, not a weight loss supplement
Chromium – Used to control blood sugar, chromium does not actually promote any weight loss results
Conclusion on Hydroxytrol
Hydroxytrol has ingredients that supposedly promote healthy and effective weight loss results. But as it turns out, Hydroxytrol really does not have a single one. Hydroxytrol can cause side effects. But it is highly unlikely to actually help you to lose weight.
The fact that Hydroxytrol has ephedrine and all of the marketers seem to apologize for using it should be a major warning sign in and of itself. But if you need more, the proof is in the pudding.
