EZ Slim

EZ Slim is a homeopathic remedy produced and marketed by HomeoCare to be a low cost weight loss aid.

Since EZ Slim promises to be able to help you lose weight, lower your blood pressure, cholesterol and your risk for diabetes, we decided to research this product to see if it can really live up to its promises.

Pros

EZ Slim, like all of HomeoCare’s products, is made with all natural and homeopathic ingredients, which usually means that there is a lower risk for negative side effects.

Since there are so many products that resort to pumping your system with stimulants to help you lose weight, we are always pleased to see a weight loss aid that will take a more natural approach.

Cons

Although we appreciate natural approaches, we still expect the product to be able to produce results.

After looking at EZ Slim’s ingredients list, we have very little hope that this product will actually help you lose any amount of weight. With ingredients like fucus versiculosis, and anacardium orientale, EZ Slim sounds like it is formulated with nature’s best kept secrets. However, they are counting on the average consumer to not realize what these ingredients really are before they buy the product.

Fucus versiculosis, for example, is really just a source of iodine from the sea, and is often used in spas to soften the skin. There has never been any evidence to suggest that fucus versiculosis is capable of helping you lose weight.

It is even less clear why anacardium orientale is included in EZ Slim’s formula. Although it is rarely found outside of homeopathic treatments, even in the homeopathic world, anacardium orientale is used to treat mental disorders like schizophrenia.

So unless EZ Slim expects anacardium orientale to help quiet that voice in your head that tells you to eat another cupcake, we can’t see how it will help you lose weight.

Our Opinion

Because EZ Slim will most likely not help you lose any weight, we do not think that this product is worth trying. Even though its all natural ingredient list will most likely not give you any side effects, we don’t feel you should have to settle with EZ Slim just because it is safe.
