DopaLean
There are some new dietary products on the market today, one of which is Dopalean. DopaLean was created by ProSource as a non-stimulant weight loss supplement designed to burn weight and suppress appetite while helping you maintain a healthy lifestyle.
We decided to grade the effectiveness, safety and overall value of DopaLean.
Effectiveness
DopaLean utilizes a very simple formula that contains just three ingredients; Svetol, Mucuna Pruriens Extract and Vitamin C.
Svetol is a patented ingredient made Naturex. It is made from decaffeinated coffee and consists mainly of chlorogenic acids, which regulate the glucose production in the body. There are very few clinical studies that show the effectiveness of Svetol.
DopaLean’s two remaining ingredients don’t really play a huge role in weight loss. Mucuna Pruriens Extract has been used as a snake bite treatment and can also be used as a sexual enhancing supplement. Vitamin C is a good nutrient for skin care and has antioxidant properties making it a great medicinal product.
Because two of the three ingredients are not even used normally for weight loss and the third is unproven, it is hard to take DopaLean seriously. We have no choice but to rate the effectiveness of DopaLean very low.
Effectiveness rating: 2/10
Safety
Since the ingredients in DopaLean are very basic and natural, there seems to be little risk of side effects. However, Mucuna Pruriens Extract and Svetol have not received sufficient testing to determine their potential adverse affects.
Vitamin C has been used for centuries and poses little risk. That said, not enough is fully known about the other two ingredients, which makes us a little cautious.
Safety Rating: 7/10
Overall Value
You can find DopaLean on ProSource’s official website for $28.95. That is a below average price when comparing it to other weight loss supplements.
The real question is, does it work? If it has no effect on your weight, it doesn’t matter what the cost is, you will not buy it. Because we do not fully understand the effects of Svetrol (which appears to be the only potentially effective ingredient), we feel that DopaLean is not worth any price. That opinion can change, but for now we recommend trying something else.
Overall Rating: 4/10
