African Mango Scams
The African mango has taken the weight-loss industry by storm! Study after study has shown its effectiveness at helping people lose the weight they want to.
However, whenever an effective product hits the market, thousands of scammers will follow it, trying to scrounge up a couple bucks. Here’s how you can avoid being scammed.
Avoid Fillers
A couple of studies have shown that the African mango can help users lose over 25 pounds. However, taking the wrong dose will do little for your weight loss goals.
The studies used a dose of 250 mg of a purified form of the African mango. Many scammers will take advantage of this by giving you a 250 mg dose where only 5% of it is actually African mango extract.
Also avoid fillers even if you are getting your 250 mg dose of the extract. Fillers that do nothing for the body work just like toxins, slowing down the digestive system.
Avoid Stimulants
While some ingredients help the African mango to be more effective (like Cissus quadrangularis used in a prominent study), some ingredients “steal the show”. They do the work while the African mango sits on the label.
An example of this is caffeine. Caffeine is a common additive to weight loss pills because it stimulates the body to lose weight. However, the other ingredients really do nothing, except clutter the ingredient list to make the product sound legit.
The problem with caffeine is that the body quickly becomes desensitized by it. You will lose some weight fast, think it’s the African mango, and when the weight loss stops, stop taking the product.

Make Sure It’s the Right Extract
While many scammers are vague as to where they got their extract, the real product is extracted from the African mango’s seed. The fruit is just a bitter version of the regular mango.
The reason scammers will use the fruit is because it is cheaper. Many people unfamiliar with the African mango won’t realize it’s the seeds that have the potent weight-loss ingredients in it.
While the fruit is healthy, and full of antioxidants, it doesn’t do much to fight weight in the body. The seeds contain compounds that suppress the appetite and boost the body’s energy.
The seeds are also excellent sources of fiber. Soluble fiber will sit in the stomach longer to sate your appetite, and insoluble fiber binds to fat making it more difficult for your body to digest it.
So What is Safe?
However there are many safe and effective african mango products available. Not everybody is a scammer, and those that aren’t will shine through the rest.
One such product is IrvingiAppress, a mixture of African mango and the time proven green tea. A proven mix that will not only help you lose weight, but feel good doing it!
