Advocare ThermoPlus
Advocare ThermoPlus is one of the smaller brands that really keeps things simple.
When using Advocare ThermoPlus, you supposedly burn fat, suppress appetite, and increase energy. And if you think about it for a moment, that’s all that any of us are really asking for. We want a diet pill that works. The only thing that is in question is if Advocare ThermoPlus makes the grade.
Advocare ThermoPlus’ Active Ingredient
Oolong tea has been repeatedly studied, in part because it comes from the same tea leaves as green tea, and in part because oolong tea is actually the #1 choice of native Chinese citizen who want to lose weight! Who knew, right? Some studies have failed to show results. Oolong tea does not improve insulin levels in diabetic patients.
But oolong tea is a strong thermogenic fat burner that does come with healthy antioxidant benefits when used correctly. But you don’t have to believe me. You can read about the studies for yourself. You can read about the Chinese study conducted in 1998 which showed that among 102 female subjects, test subjects were able to lose a significant amount of body weight in 6 weeks as compared to placebo.
The Problem
Despite all the clinical research and the many benefits of oolong tea, there is one thing that every consumer should know. Every successful study on oolong tea used 400mg doses with 50% caffeine content or more. Advocare ThermoPlus and products like it do not have those amounts.
In addition to this, Advocare ThermoPlus does not have any other active ingredients. Other ingredients, like sage, have nothing to do with weight loss at all! Sage doesn’t even control cravings or blood glucose. If anything, the other ingredients in Advocare ThermoPlus are better suited to acne treatment.
Conclusion
Advocare ThermoPlus is a lot of things. But it is not a diet pill, and it’s not a real weight loss supplement. Advocare ThermoPlus has a grand total of one clinically proven ingredient, and makers don’t even bother to use the clinically proven 400mg, which is actually pretty small in the grand scheme of things. It’s obvious, at least to me, that Advocare ThermoPlus is not at all what it claims to be.
